Every winter, stubble burning metamorphosizes into a crisis when the air in and around NCR turns into a dark cesspool of carbon and nitrous oxide. Stubble Burning in agriculturally prosperous regions causes colossal air pollution, and in times of Covid-19, polluted air is a big worry as it induces lung infection and slows down recovery.
We saw a problem and decided to solve it. The idea of stubble plastic is initiated with the sole intention of curbing the problem of stubble burning, transforming and reinventing agricultural waste into innovative, high-quality products like packaging material for medicines, biodegradable masks, cutlery, and recycled paper and stationery items from rice straw, sugarcane baggage, and wheat straw. We at Stubble Plastic work to make sure that agricultural waste is not burnt and is utilised most efficiently.
